Pagosa Springs—home to the world’s deepest hot springs—is a year-round destination for both relaxation and adventure. The geothermal springs remain the town’s crown jewel, while summer brings colorful hot air balloons and tubing down the San Juan River. In winter, nearby Wolf Creek Ski Area—famous for having the most snow in Colorado—draws skiers and snowboarders, with cross-country trails also available right in town. Just 30 minutes away, Chimney Rock National Monument offers breathtaking hikes and a window into ancient history. Pagosa’s vibrant downtown is filled with locally owned shops and restaurants, including Voormi, Ski & Bow Rack, Kips, Meander, Roothouse, and Pagosa Baking Company—delivering an authentic mountain town experience.
